DAY 3  Following our 7:00 AM drivers meeting, you’ll have the choice of touring the Chevrolet Corvette Assembly Plant or exploring Mammoth Cave National Park. After visiting the attraction of your choice, we’ll reconvene at the old L&N passenger depot, which has been restored to its original beauty. After dining on a catered lunch, we’ll continue across the southern edge of Kentucky to another prime photo opportunity at the Jefferson Davis Memorial in Fairview, Kentucky. The memorial is an obelisk much like the Washington Monument and can be seen for miles. Continuing along the relatively flat land of southwestern Kentucky, we will cross both Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake in the Land Between The Lakes National Recreational Area. Again you’ll want to have your cameras ready as this area has a large elk population. We’ll end the day at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park. 2009 Route Coming Soon!
